Here at the Barn Studio of Dance we believe in providing professional dance education to every student. We have a wide range of dance teachers educated in their specific field, as well as guest teachers who teach in the summers. We also have a very organized office manager who helps with the day to day happenings of the studio. Please read about our wonderful staff below!

Danielle Holsonback
Pre-Ballet, Irish, Jazz I
Danielle has been dancing for fourteen years and is trained in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Irish Step and Hip hop. She has been teaching dance and choreographing for eight years. Danielle has performed in over twenty dance productions including the Nutcracker, Peter Pan, Swan Lake, Alice in Wonderland and many more in which she held lead roles. She currently teaches at the Barn Studio of Dance and the North Penn Y.M.C.A. Danielle is a graduate from Souderton Area High School and is attending Montgomery County Community College. Following her two years at M.C.C. Danielle will be attending West Chester University where she will finish out her degree in early childhood education. Danielle is an aspiring teacher who loves to share her passion for dance with anyone who is interested in learning. Danielle likes to teach her dancers not only the art of dance but also how to be well rounded individuals. “Young dancers are training at a very vulnerable time in their lives...So train the whole person, not just the dancer” (- Deborah Bull), is a quote that Danielle likes to live and teach by.

Susan Fudala
Zumba
Susan’s background is based in classical ballet. From the age of 3-21, she studied at numerous studios and danced semi-professionally with the Devon Festival Ballet Co. in Devon PA. After taking a break to have her three children, she became a certified aerobics instructor in 2005. She has taught cardio, strength and toning classes for years. In 2008, Susan discovered Zumba Fitness and found that it was the perfect combination of her two passions - dance and fitness. She became a certified Zumba instructor in 2010 and has taught classes for several dance and fitness studios in Montgomery County. Susan still loves ballet and continues to take adult classes at the Barn Studio in Souderton. For two years she has performed with the studio holding lead roles such as the Sugarplum Fairy in Nutcracker and Blue Bird in Sleeping Beauty.
Susan lives in Schwenksville with her husband and three children.

Liz Lyle
Guest Teacher
Liz has been teaching dance and choreographing for seven years. She currently teaches dance in studios around the Philadelphia area. During the summers Liz has taught at a YMCA’s summer camp. Liz has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from Eastern University. She recently choreographed a twenty minute modern piece, Beautiful Human, which was performed at the Eastern's senior dance concert, Still Standing. Liz has also performed in ten of Eastern University dance concerts. She has had her choreography showcased in five of Eastern University’s dance concerts; her pieces included A Part of My Soul, Unfaltering Drive!, Paresthesias, Beautiful Human and What Remains?. Liz had the opportunity to perform in pieces by Eastern University’s professors such as Stephen Welsh’s Under the Microscope in 2009 at the Community Education Center in Philadelphia, Dr. Karen Clemente’s Return Again in 2007 at Pennsylvania State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance State Convention, Saleana Pettaway’s Faint jazz dance, and Janine Bryant's Studying Martha at Eastern University’s dance concert Spirit Dancing. Liz has danced on the Redefined hip-hop dance team at Eastern, and has also attended the American College Dance Festival Association in 2009, 2010, and performed in 2011. Liz is a former company member and choreographer for the modern dance company MM2. Her piece for MM2, Post-Emergence, was performed at the 2010 Philadelphia Fringe Festival, and the Philly Fringe Preview Show where her piece was mentioned in STAGE magazine.
Liz graduated from Souderton Area High School in 2006, and has been studying dance for over 18 years. She has studied ballet, pointe, jazz, modern and hip-hop. At a young age Liz, had the opportunity to take classes and perform in the Nutcracker with the Donetsk Ballet Company. She received her dance training at Green Street, and the Barn Studio of Dance, and has taken ballet and modern classes at Koresh in Philadelphia where she took class with Melissa Rector, and Steps in New York City where she took class with David Howard. Liz had many soloist roles throughout her training. She has also worked at Branch Creek Community Church, where she designed and taught the dance program for the art's camp. Cathrynne Reynolds
Guest Teacher
Cathrynne is currently going into her senior year at Eastern University where she will receive a B.A. in dance with a minor in psychology. She has studied ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, and African dancing as well as dance composition and pedagogy. Cathrynne was a member of the Danse4nia Repertory Ensemble from 2009-2010, and a member and choreographer for MM2 modern dance company from 2010-2011. With Danse4nia she had the opportunity to perform a solo at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. She also performed in Danse4nia’s Danse 4 the Cure event at The Painted Bride and Danse4nia’s 2010 Philadelphia Fringe production where she performed in the premiere of Meredith Rainey’s Caged. Her choreography was showcased in MM2’s 2010 Philadelphia Fringe Festival production and selected to be performed in the ETC. Performance Series at the CEC. Cathrynne’s choreography has also been showcased in many of Eastern University’s dance concerts.
Cathrynne has performed works by notable choreographers such as Meredith Rainey, Shawn Lamere-Williams, and Stephen Welsh. She has also held roles in Michel Fokine’s Les Sylphides and a re-staging of Dr. Kariamu Welsh’s Ibo’s Landing. She has attended the American College Dance Festival (ACDFA) for the past three years and in 2011 she performed in the ACDFA showcase. She currently teaches at various studios in the Philadelphia area.
